On successful completion of the three day Dangerous Goods Air Acceptance Course, qualified personnel will be able to:

Understand and be conversant with the current edition International Air Transport Association (IATA) Regulations;

Have a working knowledge of the classes, divisions and packing groups of Dangerous Goods;

Efficiently apply the IATA Regulations to day to day processing of Dangerous Goods Shipments;
-
Mark and label correctly, selected Dangerous Goods;
-
Correctly document selected shipments of Dangerous Goods;
-
Understand the Acceptance Checklist; and
-
Registration with IATA as a qualified handler of Dangerous Goods.
On completion of this one day Acceptance Re Certification Course, qualified personnel will be able to:

Be re validated for a period of two years as per the Civil Aviation Act and IATA requirements for all personnel involved in Air Cargo Acceptance;
-
Be proficient with the use of the current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations; and
-
Be fully aware of all marking, labeling and documentation required.
On successful completion of the two day Dangerous Goods Air Shipper’s Course, qualified personnel will be able to:
-
Understand and be conversant with the current edition International Air Transport Association (IATA) Regulations;
-
Have a working knowledge of the classes, divisions and packing groups of Dangerous Goods;
-
Efficiently apply the IATA Regulations to day to day processing of Dangerous Goods Shipments;
-

On completion of this one day Shipper’s Re Certification Course, qualified personnel will be able to:

On successful completion of the one day Flight Crew /Load Planner / Cabin Crew Course, personnel will be able to:

Understand and be conversant with the current edition International Air Transport Association (IATA) Regulations;

Have a working knowledge of the classes, divisions and packing groups of Dangerous Goods;

Efficiently apply the IATA Regulations to day to day processing of Dangerous Goods Shipments;
-
Recognise/identify hazard/handling labels applicable to Dangerous Goods;
-
Understand provisions for Dangerous Goods in baggage of passengers & crew;
-
Be aware of loading restrictions & requirements; and
-
Be familiar with emergency procedures.
On completion of this one day course, company employees will be able to:

Understand and be conversant with the current edition International Air Transport Association (IATA) Regulations;

Have a working knowledge of the classes, divisions and packing groups of Dangerous Goods;

Recognise/identify the hazard/handling labels applicable to Dangerous Goods;
-
Update/generate pilot notification forms as required;
-
Apply specific storage & loading procedures for Dangerous Goods;
-
Procedures to be carried out in the event of a Dangerous Goods Incident; and
-
Be familiar with & be able to apply emergency procedures.
On successful completion of the one day Passenger handling / Security Screeners Course qualified personnel will be able to:

Understand and be conversant with the current edition International Air Transport Association (IATA) Regulations;

Have a working knowledge of the classes, divisions and packing groups of Dangerous Goods;
-
Recognise/identify the hazard/handling labels applicable to Dangerous Goods;
-
Understand provisions for Dangerous Goods in baggage of passengers & crew;
-
Identify & detect hidden hazards in baggage;
-
Understand the requirement to report accidents / incidents / mis-declarations involving dangerous goods; and
-
Be familiar with emergency procedures.
On successful completion of the two day Sea Freighting of dangerous Goods Course, qualified personnel will be able to:

Understand and be conversant with the current edition International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code;
-
Have a working knowledge of the classes, divisions and packing groups of Dangerous Goods;
-
Be familiar with Packaging Selection, Testing & Marking;
-
Recognise/identify hazard/handling labels applicable to Dangerous Goods;
-
Be capable of completing/checking the Dangerous Goods Documentation; and
-
Understand Stowage & Segregation Requirements and be familiar with Fumigated Units.
On successful completion of the one day Sea Freight Awareness Course, qualified personnel will be able to:

Understand and be conversant with the current edition International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code;

Have a working knowledge of the classes, divisions and packing groups of Dangerous Goods;
-
Be familiar with Packaging Selection, Testing & Marking;

Recognise/identify hazard/handling labels applicable to Dangerous Goods;

Be capable of completing/checking the Dangerous Goods Documentation; and
-
